WHEN THE TRUTH SURFACES…
New Year’s Eve, 2023. When Hannah and her friends rent a luxury yacht in an Italian marina, they party in style under the stars until they pass out.
…WHO WILL SINK…
The next morning, they are horrified to find they have been cut adrift into the open ocean, with no sight of land and no fuel in the engine. And that’s when the first person goes missing…
…AND WHO WILL SWIM?
The Yacht is a twisty locked-room thriller that will have fans of The White Lotus, Lucy Foley and Amy McCulloch addicted from the very start!

‘A Sarah Goodwin novel never fails to impress, but THE YACHT is by far her best yet. Fast-paced and brilliantly written, it had a real Lord Of The Flies vibe, with each one of her well crafted, animalistic characters swiftly descending into chaos. Every page left me wanting more, every word crafted with harrowing brutality. THE YACHT has it all. Terror, desperate urgency and impactful emotion that will force readers to take a closer look at their own lives and address what we all deem important.’ – Nicky Shearsby

Very good read, but...
This was a really good book, with a lot of similarities to 'Adrift,' by M.A. Hunter. I like how the whole thing was entirely told through Hannah's eyes, and there were times she enfuriated me, along with some of the others. Unfortunately, (and this is just a problem on my part) I've read so many of these now I had the twists worked out long before we were told. Though that took away a little of the excitement for me, I still enjoyed the locked room, trapped and claustrophobic atmosphere, they are my favourite kinds of books. I'm fast coming to learn it's the person you'd least suspect that you should suspect. Really well narrated, too.

Great listen
Well I absolutely loved this book , I wasn’t sure before I started to listen but I thought I’d give it go.
It kept me hooked and I really enjoyed the story , though I sorted guessed the plot but it didn’t spoil it , I was completely absorbed

A brilliant finger numbing tense read
A very good read. Tense, exciting, non stop on the edge of your seat and enjoyable. I highly recommend this author.

The descriptive way it was written, along with the crave for just one more chapter.
Loved the whole idea, found it a very original overseas novel. Listened to this in one day, and part evening. Was not feeling very well at the time. Escapism not only as part of the theme of this physiological thriller but also tied in very well with my wishes to distract myself from feeling so unwell! It was quite knowledgeable to learn what it would be like to be on an expensive yacht. This book was full of red herrings. Pardon the pun. I kept thinking I knew who was the real culprit. Though it was one of those books you just have to keep with, to find out if you're correct. Lots of twists and turns and rather sad at the end. A very well narrated listen and not too many characters to distract from the plot. Some very good morals incorporated! Would make for a very good disaster at sea film. Definitely will be listening to more from this author and hopefully the same narrator.

Predictable
This story was much too long winded and very predictable. The characters were unbelievable along with the plot. I almost gave up part way through. The narrator was great and did the best she could with the material.

Too much negativity for me
A good writer but not my sort of book. I prefer something more uplifting. Excellent narrator.
