Summary

Loved it
I’ve never written a review before, but I nearly got put off listening to this book as I read the review of someone who didn’t like it. I LOVED it! Great characters, totally believable development of toxic relationships and great story. It gave me an insight I hadn’t had before about the insidious manipulation of a person’s identity and sanity which make them feel powerless and unable to leave a relationship despite its destructive or deadly threat to their well-being. I also liked the love from beyond the grave which all of us who have lost someone very close have felt in some way. The performances were faultless and I couldn’t stop listening. Brilliant book.

Excellent all round.
What an amazing, sensitive and almost spiritual story that kept me horrified and enthralled. This is a brilliantly told story of abuse and love. I could not stop listening at every opportunity.

Fantastic Read
Got me gripped from the start. Fabulous book highly recommend with twist after twist and narration was excellent.
After this going to get other books from Laura Elliot.

Grippingly Amazing
This book is not for the faint hearted, as it gives detailed accounts of emotional and domestic abuse. The story is gripping and you will the victors forward and grimance at the offenders delivery and boldness. Well done Ms Elliot

A bit of a slow start
I read mixed reviews but still wanted to give it a go. I agree that it was slow to gather some traction but overall I enjoyed the story and the twists and turns once my interest was
