Summary

Something quite odd is happening in Second World - the planet's foremost MMORPG. Something that's causing alliances to be broken, and friendships, forgotten. A worthless low-level mine becomes the stage of vicious battles, its burned ruins suddenly contested by the game's toughest clans. Every border is controlled, and every road in the province blocked off. The weak players and NPCs alike are subjected to non-stop violent raids courtesy of Eastern invaders. And the strong...the strong are scouring the virtual world for the culprit - the weirdest noob the game has ever seen.

Not so much a story as a character creation

While a little too slavish to the RPG style, and a lot repetitive, the story of Russ is still one worth reading.

Slow at first but gains pace

Starts off very slowly and too much description takes time but we are being introduced to a whole new world and game engine. The language can be a bit odd at times but this cutoff be down to the translation. The narration isn’t the best and as some others have said, sometimes difficult to tell which character is speaking but not as bad as those other reviews suggest. Overall, I got hooked and and I wanted to see how the story progressed. Will definitely buy the next in the series.

Well he is a noob.

So I just finished all 3 books and the story and MC are well done but its really depends on how you look at it 1 book is i would say in some parts like " really what the spunge" but it was keeping me wanting to know more . The second book was like " wow this is really good i louve all of it " so I was excited to see how is the last one going and well the it was ok and from beginning till like half was a little let down but than it was again holding me in and I wanted to know how it's all ending. The end was from my point a little rushed but hey I think it was worth to get to the end . I personally liked the story and the Mc and his companies and there's little background. The narrator/s was excited .
