Unusual sequel!
Not quite sure what to say about this book - I loved 101 Dalmatians so decided to listen to this one too. Won’t spoil it buy giving too much away but expect the unexpected! Did enjoy it, just a little puzzled as it’s very different to the first book. Brilliant performance by Delia Corrie.

starlight barking
This is very different from 101 dalmations. more sci-fi. I prefer 101 Dalmatians to be honest.

Gentle story
Not the most riveting plot and some of the voices the narrator gave the characters were a little annoying, but a gentle enjoyable "supposing" tale - definitely more metaphysical than 101 Dalmations but not totally alien to it.

Unexpected sequel
As many reviewers have said, this sequel is a significant contrast to the first novel. It has a much darker theme and plot, and it is definitely less of a a children’s work than the first book.
Without giving too much away, it deals with a mysterious vision seen only by the worlds dog population, a vision which requires Pongo To make a difficult decision concerning the relationship between a dog kind and humanity.

102 Dalmatians was a rubbish sequel. But this book is great. Weird concepts but definitely worth a read for all ages!
