when a job goes bad, what do you do ?

This is a beautiful Aladdin retelling, it's short but good. I wish it had been longer to be honest, the characters are fun and interesting. The space twist to it was actually very well done, and the role reversal part was fantastic. Having the female lead as the thief instead of the male, that is what I loved best. Switching between both characters perspective was another thing that I really enjoyed, and the heartbreaking moments added to it all. I'm not sure if there's any more books after this, but I will be having a look.

Sphere of Infinity

This a retelling of the Aladdin story only the roles are revered. The FMC is the thief. She gets hired to retrieve the Sphere of Infinity due to her size. What makes her a good thief is her ability to fit in impossible places. Jasper is the MC and he has come to see the dragons. By the end of the novella they are working to help rescue the dragons. I hope the story continues. I enjoyed the development in the story so far.

Great re-telling of a fairy tale

Female Aladdin (named Alana) told in a space setting. There is a Jasper instead of Jasmine. People were getting chipped since she was 12 and she has been evading them to not get it done.

I loved this gender reversed Aladdin retelling. It was quite interesting seeing it set in a completely different time as well.

Narrator did an ok job, it could have been better but it wasn't the worst that I have heard.

I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving am honest review.

Modern Aladdin ....much better than expected, definitely worth the read

Loved this, wasn’t sure if I was going to, but I loved every minute. Strong female lead, modern twists, ethical issues covered...a great modern take with sci fi to boot. Well done!
