Summary
Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.
I've got a secret you don't know.
Caiden Cavendish is under my skin. The Four have switched from being my enemies to my closest friends.
But not everything has changed. Two truths remain.... My life is still in danger, and my mother is hiding something.
So many questions, and no answers.
What secrets lie buried in Alstone?
The lies, the secrets, they'll come undone.
I'm the monster you can't outrun.
Note - This book is not a standalone, and should be listened to after The Lies We Tell.

Second in series
The Secrets We Hide is the second book of The Four trilogy (not a standalone). The genre of this second book leans toward suspense. It ends with another cliffhanger and I'm very interested in seeing where the rest series goes.
Like the first book in the series, Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas did an excellent job with their performances.

Caiden and Winter!
Winter is feisty, fiery and determined to uncover the truth about the secrets her mother holds and the truth behind her father’s passing. Now that she has convinced the four that they make better friends than foes it is great to see them working as a team as they all bring their own individual strengths to the group.
Caiden is strong, sexy and with everything we learn about him it just leaves us wanting more. He has finally allowed himself to open his heart to the possibilities of what he could have with Winter and seeing the chemistry and connection between them only makes them that much more intriguing.
As the story continues to unfold the danger escalates and leaves us wondering what other secrets are still to be unveiled. The narrators did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to life. 🎧AudiobookObsession

So. Many. Questions!
This book was just as amazing as book one. Except there are even more questions now, when I didn't think it was possible. I'm even more curious of what is going on.
Winter and The Four have gotten themselves into a world of trouble that I'm not completely sure they are prepared for. Can they handle all they will learn? Do they want the answers? I'm not sure I even want them, pretty sure they will ruin me. But I need to know...
Who is it? I mean... that ending was brutal. The angst is real and the questions are endless. The answers seem so far away and the questions keep multiplying, it's like they find out something that ends up making more questions instead of answering any of the previous ones. It's driving me mad. But I love it!
I love how close knit and openly affectionate the group is. They all care for each other tremendously and show it in different ways but it's clear by the way they are together. The loyalty and respect is felt with them.
I also love how Caiden and Winter are finding their footing. I just hope none of these answers will ruin things..
These narrators nailed it! I am a huge fan of Gregory Salinas and he didn't disappoint! Kelli Tager was the perfect voice for Winter, she did a fantastic job with the emotions and the angst of it all.

loved it as much as no. 1
the series is well written and it contains a bit of everything: action, emotional parts, sex scenes, friendship, family. i was expecting it to be longer and probably to have 1 book per each of the IV, but instead it's one unique story in 3 books. Therefore, if you decide to purchase book one, be aware that you will have to buy also no.2 and 3. and it's worth it.
I would love to read the stories of the other guys as they are one better than the other. overall vey satisfied.
The narration was great. I love Gregory and he was perfect for the part. Kelli was also very good, but her male tones need some work. for the rest, both of them had a perfect english accent and believable acting.
I received a free copy of the audiobook and i am leaving a voluntary review.

Good Listen
The secrets keep coming. The Four is still trying to piece together everything but more keep coming. They also learn that trust is fragile and anything can lead to them having doubts. But they have to trust each other in order to get through everything.

Fast paced and enjoyable!
This was a fast paced and enjoyable listen.
I recommend reading this in the series order as it's not a standalone and ends in a cliffhanger!
I absolutely love this series. The narration is brilliant and the characters are interesting, relatable and well fleshed out.
The storyline is engaging and runs a bit dark.
This was a highly enjoyable sequel!!
