not for me

I can see the potential of the book and subject matter, but it's not in fact a book on rapid skill acquisition, it's a book on good study habits and how to apply them to a subject of your choice (poorly at times).
still a worthy book, but not what was advertised.

Steve Campbell does his best to make this an easy read and as always he succeeded.
he manages to give life and inflection to a fairly dry textbook and I'm not sure I would have gotten past a somewhat self-indulgent author if it hadn't been for Steve.
