The Runaway
This was another hot and steamy book in the Savage Mountain Men series. These characters are all different from the ones in book 1, The Captive, so it's a complete standalone. If you loved, The Captive, you'll love this one too. It has a different storyline but still has a similar theme. Laurie West did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

The Runaway.
Loved listening to the audiobook, the story was great and written well, Marissa had to get out of town quickly so she hopped on the bus out of town to Savage mountain, when she got there she went into a cafe where there are people. Marissa asks to many questions when she scored a job by the man that sat next to her they needed a cleaner, they went to their home with her. There was a little bit of BDSM, hot and sexy scenes, some little twists, passion/lust and betrayal.
The narrator was clearly spoken and easy to understand.

Hot and entertaining
This is one very hot and entertaining book which is the perfect length where things aren’t dragged out and they aren’t rushed either. The characters are well developed for a shorter novel and they give off the intensity needed.
Can’t wait to listen to the next one as the last two were fantastic

I need to go to this mountain retreat
I really wish this mountain retreat existed! The characters are so Alpha and hot. I love the arrogance of the men. Excellent narration.
