You need this for your career
If you are like me, you pick up many technical books to learn how to be the best at what you do, but you haven't done much (until now) to make sure that the way you interact with people does not overshadow the effort you put and hinder your success. This book is one you need if you want to change that. It is a book for anyone who wants to succeed but who may having some trouble dealing with 'company politics' or simply talking with your superiors, colleagues and teams. I found it to be incredibly practical.

Insightful
This turned out to be quite an insightful listen. It’s packed with practical advice on enhancing communication and collaboration in the workplace. I particularly liked how it deals with engaging with colleagues, which I've been trying to improve on.
The tips provided are straightforward and easy to implement. For example, it suggests strategies for building rapport with teammates and superiors, which I found helpful. It's clear and direct; I also appreciated the focus on active listening and empathy, which are areas where I've sometimes struggled. I recommend this to anyone looking to enhance their interpersonal skills at work.

Consistent reminders that we are connecting with people with human needs
This audiobook provides consistent reminders that regardless of the professional setting we are in, the people we work with aren't robots. We all need empathetic connectivity, and many times that can get lost when we become too obsessed with the requirements of work. This audiobook provides guidance in multiple areas on how to build strong interpersonal skills to ensure that the people around you feel valued and understood.

Practical Guide for Interpersonal Realtionships
This is a good book for anyone looking to enhance their interpersonal relationships. The author covers many verbal and non-verbal communication topics and even gives specific advice on how to use social media and networking for your career. One vital topic that was covered is active listening. Active listening shows you're invested in what the other person has to say and be able to respond accordingly. Using this single tactic alone will strengthen your personal and professional relationships as it shows you are genuinely interested in the other person/people. Great information!
