Summary

“Read this book, strengthen your resolve, and help us all return to reason.” —JORDAN PETERSON

There’s a war against truth … and if we don’t win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty.

The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism have become endangered by a series of viral forces in our society today. Renowned host of the popular YouTube show The Saad Truth, Dr. Gad Saad exposes how an epidemic of idea pathogens are spreading like a virus and killing common sense in the West.

Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic first-hand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society and how these have created serious consequences that must be remedied—before it’s too late.

Almost Perfect

Great polemic theatre chews at the flabby excesses of the SJW cult. Only shame is that Gad himself didn’t narrate.

Extremely important read in our times of unreason.

Humor and intelligence perfectly melded into one book which should be read and enjoyed no matter where you are in the world.

Oh good Gad

This book is a metaphorical lighthouse in a world of nebulous, contrived platitudes where people are often portrayed as villains for "wrong think". Gad Saad is the hero we all deserve and isn't afraid to talk sense in a society that seems to constantly be pushing a self-destruct button. The warped reality of wokeness is dissected brilliantly and Gad's great sense of humour shines throughout.

This was a much needed medicine. Thank you Gad! 👍

I enjoyed the voice of Jim very easy listening. Though I am a fan of the authors. I listen to your podcasts. I think you would do a great job Gad.

Should Be Mandatory Reading For Everyone

I don't think anything has left me more distressed over the last 2 decades or so than the contempt that modern society has for truth.

Yes, truth. Not feelings but facts.

This is an excellent breakdown of why truth matters, what is at risk when we fail to give it proper regard and what, maybe, those of us who value truth can do to protect it before the desire for truth is completely lost in a new Dark Age of lunacy.

If you think you'll love this, buy it. If you think you'll hate it, buy it twice and force someone else just like you to listen to it as well. One day, you will be glad that you did.

The only minor (and it is minor) complaint is that although the narrator is excellent, the author would have been just as good as a narrator. The world deserves to hear strong ideas from the horse's mouth as it were. Though Mr. Saad, please note, I am not comparing you to a horse. ;-)

exactly what I needed

Being a private psychologist in London for 2 years now, meaning I do daily multicultural counselling, I can strongly confirm that this ideas and this truths were exactly what I needed to fight for people's wellbeing and curing their infected minds.

Really shines the light on the current sad state of the world

This book is great, it really gets the lefties riled up. Perfect, we love some lefty tears.

Also quite informative, I learned that women can’t have penises, who’d have thought? 😅

I will warn you though; If you are someone who lacks “common sense” this book probably isn’t for you. 🤡

Challenging and enlightening

Gad Saad is not afraid to state the clear and obviously present state of education, politics, and ideologies that are being presented in universities. He pulls no punches and conveys his reasoning very accurately. Eye opening book!
