Summary

Flirting with his friend’s father was supposed to be just fun and games for Derek, but what happens when teasing leads to unexpected questions and some surprising curiosity?

Derek has known the unflappable Sean for years, and nothing ever gets a reaction out of the attractive older man. Nothing, that is, until Derek senses some unexpected curiosity from the man he always thought was straight. But who better than an adventurous switch to help Sean explore his wild side?

Sean knows better than to take Derek’s teasing seriously. There’s a reason he’s always called the impetuous younger man “the pest”. But when Derek’s playful banter leads to some interesting reactions, Sean has to decide what’s more important - hiding behind what he’s always assumed or finally getting to discover who he really was all along.

The story contains m/m sexual content, playful use of the term daddy, BDSM elements, spanking, a mischievous switch, a fun adult toy store, and a man who always thought he was straight.

Author’s note: There is no age play in this book, although Derek loves to drive Sean crazy about their age difference.

as great as the ebook...

The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the best Narrators for me and it's soo sad, that he passed away just a few weeks ago. I had to stop to listen a few times because I had to mourn him. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Sweet tale of love and discovering yourself

So we have met Derek and Sean before in Shaw’s writing - in Christopher and Ethan’s story and I’m glad that not only did they get their HEAs, but that their HEAs were together.

Derek is hilarious and a bit kooky - just right for helping Sean discover who he is and what he likes. The two men are so sweet together. I loved just how genuinely nice Sean is too, especially one particular scene with Derek’s best friend Jules. MA Innes often does cameos in their books - and this was no exception, I loved who popped up!

Kenneth Obi’s narration, as always, makes me feel like I’m experiencing the story for the first time and getting to know the characters all over again. A fantastic listen.

Sweet and hot

This is a real feel good story. Someone needs to step out of their comfort zone but other then that it’s smooth, sweet and hot. And it works!

Kenneth Obi did an excellent job bringing all the characters to life. Some of them are old friends we’ve heard before.
