Gripping
Read first two and this one was just as gripping and eventful, some gruesomeness a little in last part but tolerable.
Enjoying this series only downfall book 4 & 5 aren’t on audible yet, hopefully coming very soon so can finish the series and conclude story

too short
this series of books are quite good but they should have been only 1 book instead of 4 very short books.
Therefore not good value!

I love these.
Love these books, nice and short but enough to enthrall. Matt Godfrey has an awesome way of telling stories, very immersive.

A very enjoyable series. Both hard copy and audio
Ok, I have to admit to being a post apocalyptic fan. Thing is, there is a sameness starting to appear.
That is why this series from Flint Maxwell made me sit ups bit, listening and reading simultaneously.
I have never tired of the content. I feel a connection to the characters, due partly because we are reading about something that hasn't happened, yet! Also the skill of the author, bringing on a character so well that they feel real to the reader.
This series does all that, and more. It is brutally terrifying, the way Flint has managed to create a world that leaves you shaking. I'm not a spoiler so that's all you get for now.
I m sorry the fourth book is not in audio yet, but if we all get buying the sets that will change.
I really enjoy listening and Matt Godfrey does a splendid job.
Now a sad thing.
I listened to Flint's comments about reviews that he had been left. The negative attitudes that were posted. Shame on you for that people. Of course Flint and all other authors are going to receive recompense for their work, in whatever form that may take.
The time and physical effort it takes to get work down, in a shape that you feel tells of the plot, characterisation and all the extras that bring books to life. The hours, the mental drain, I salute you.

Disappointed
Storyline ok but far too much padding, unnecessary reminiscing and pointless soliloquy. Hopefully the next book will have more substance.
