This groundbreaking book explores the recent revolution in psychotherapy that has brought an understanding of the social nature of people's brains to a therapeutic context. The narrator's voice Was Not engaging

The narrator's voice showed disapproval, causing discomfort and annoyance. It lacked the warmth and enthusiasm that didn't draw me as a listeners in, instead it felt flat & delivery failed to engage, leaving a sense of detachment that did not resonate with the emotions of the story being told.

I wish it was read by different narrator

I wish it was narreted by an author. The narrator, although well trained, has no connection with the text, and every sentence reads with the same annoying "melody". It was like listening to the same song for 15 hours. I found it hard to belive in autencity of some examples of clients and their stories.
