About this listen
A woman discovers the father of the child she is nannying may be her biggest (Only)Fan in this steamy contemporary romance by Lana Ferguson
Suddenly unemployed Cassie has two options: get a new job (and fast) or fire up her long-untouched OnlyFans account. When she spots an ad for a live-in nanny position it seems like the solution to all her problems...
But Aiden Reid, executive chef and DILF extraordinaire, is far from the stuffy single dad Cassie was imagining. With those hands and eyes that scream sex, such close proximity feels dangerous. With no other option, she takes the job and moves in with him and his adorably tenacious daughter, Sophie.
Cassie soon discovers that Aiden is not a stranger at all - instead he's someone who is very familiar with her - or at least, her body. Given that he doesn't remember her, Cassie is faced with what feels like an impossible situation. As their relationship heats up, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth, and the more terrifying possibility - losing the best chance at happiness she's ever had...
Critic reviews
'Everything about The Nanny is enjoyable: the plot, the pacing, the characters and especially Ferguson's wise and funny voice. It's also refreshing to see sex-positive characters who approach intimacy with maturity... If you're a fan of dirty talk and slow-burning chemistry, you'll love The Nanny.' BookPage, starred review

Loved it
I got an audio book, easy to read whist ironing or jogging. I am a nonfictional writer and it was good to pick up A book and finish listening to it.

Unique little story
Loved the only fans element to this book. I thought I wouldn’t but it made a nice change. I struggled with the male narrator- didn’t feel like the voice matched the male part but he was good at playing Cassie and Sophie lol
I got a bit impatient about 40% of the way through but overall really good book

Average light hearted
I had my eyes on this for a few months as I liked the look of the premise but was overall left a bit disappointed.
The story and characters were alright. I thought there would be more angst and tension and play on the Only Fans elements but this wasn’t the case.
The narration was also quite jarring. The female narrator doing the male voices didn’t align with the male voice narration. Obviously this is never perfect but this was the first book I’ve listened to where it really jolted me out of the story when narration would switch. Kind of felt like the accent was slightly off too.
Overall; it’s light and easy story to follow. Good for the dog walk!

Easy listen but could’ve been better
The second half of the book was really dragging, nothing was happening and the third act breakup was so forced and unnecessary. Otherwise it’s an easy listen.
