About this listen
Daydreamer Nora has inherited all of her grandmother's worldly belongings.
Nora dreads seeing her beloved grandmother's possessions go, but she's determined that item by item, memory by memory, she will find the perfect new owners.
When she opens The Memory Shop in the front of her grandmother's house, the community is gradually drawn inside, and Nora begins transforming the lives of those around her through the objects she pairs them with.

A great listen
Before I listened to this, I read several reviews criticising the narrator. For the record, I thought it was wonderful and totally appropriate for the story. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book.

Amazing Book
I really enjoyed this book & really sad when it ended.
It was such sad easy listen. It made me smile & laugh at times & it when made my cry.
That is what a good story is all about.
I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the Memories!
I really enjoyed this audio book.
A lovely meander through the interwoven stories that a bunch of random characters and objects can tell, all nicely connected into a ‘whole’
Beautifully performed, too
One of the few books that made me wonder what happened to the main characters next
A new author to me, so hoping for more happy hours listening to more of Ella’s books
Recently I’ve listened to a few books that were decent ‘listens’ but not felt like making the extra effort and leaving a review. Good to have found one I felt more inspired to comment on!

Easy listen but a bit formulaic
Sweet Irish tale of maltreated women and star-crossed lovers. Nice to have a central theme, the memories of the main character’s mysterious grandmother, wrapping up several individual (and some intertwined) stories. A pleasant read/listen that didn’t ask much brain power

My favourite book of the year so far
This author describes things in a way that you taste, feel, see and hear the words. The concept of the book is beautiful and the way that it's written is beautiful. This story isn't heavy, but trips along with you knowing where you want it to go - but it delivers some lovely outcomes and lifts your heart at the end.
Lovely read about the fact that it's never too late to make peace.
