Summary
When you need a memory to be wiped, call me. Transferring unwanted memories to my own mind is the only form of magic I've ever mastered. But now I'm holding so many memories, I'm not always sure which ones are actually mine anymore. Some of them are sensitive; all of them are private. And there are those who are willing to kill to access the secrets I'm trying to bury....

Good, clever story
Story:
A clever story with a very interesting concept. Because of the nature of this particular idea, it includes a very unreliable narrator and a twisty story you have to pay attention to. I can’t really say more because it would give away too much, and key to enjoying this story is, I think, to know as little about it as possible going in.
The main character really isn’t at all likeable, but I still found myself sympathising for him and rooting for him at points, which is a sign of how well it's written. I think a novella is the perfect length for this story and also for this character, because any longer might become infuriating. His actions sometimes seem utterly stupid, and though this is explained by the ending, it can be frustrating at points throughout the story. I can’t help feeling that the clever concept itself sometimes got in the way of really getting to know the character fully, but still, this was a good story, twisty and clever, sometimes brutal and sometimes darkly funny, and had a satisfying end.
Audio:
The narrator is brilliant, and I think captures the main character well. I enjoyed listening to this, but I think this might be one of those that works better in book form, overall. Or perhaps as both kindle version and audio, as that allows you to control the pace in a way that is more suited to you, or to flip back a bit easier if you need to.

Not Parker's best work
Slow to get through the exposition packed start, middle was plodding and the ending wasn't impactful.
My main problem was I didn't care about the main character.
