Summary
When you can no longer outrun your enemies, you have two choices. Turn and fight for your life, or give up. I’ve never been one for giving up.
Unfortunately, running away from your problems only works for so long. Since I got pulled into the secret underworld of demons, fae, and vampires, it’s been one crisis after another. I’ve been dodging and ducking, rather than hitting back. Reacting instead of acting.
Ransley Thorpe and I have been gradually backed into a corner, and we’re about to take the offensive. We may be punching way above our weight class, it's true. But if the alternative is death or captivity at the hands of our enemies, do we really have anything to lose?
The good news is, the soul bond I share with my vampire lover means we can never be parted from each other - not even in death. With that reassurance in mind, it’s time to make sure Hell and Dhuinne come to regret the day they ever decided to take us on.
So, yeah. A half-crazy vampire and an ex-waitress are about to go up against the toughest the paranormal world has to offer. I figure it’ll either be totally badass or the most epic smackdown in history.
The Last Vampire is a steamy urban fantasy romance series from USA Today best seller R.A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf, coauthors of the Circle of Blood saga.
Buy the sixth book in this series to enjoy the conclusion of Rans and Zorah's wild ride through a world populated by demons, fae, and vampires. Don't worry, though! There are more stories to tell in this world, starting with Vampire Bound: Book One.

I couldn't stop.
Ok, so I said I'd review all six books with my last review. I got through them quickly, as the books were quite short, but that, to me, made them better. The last thing I want is a story that drags on and on.
Anyway, I started with book one and wondered what on earth I was listening to. It was quick to go from nothing to full drama, and got right into the thick of the story.
The characters had major chemistry from the beginning, which was excellent, and I loved how their attraction built more and more with each book.
The story flowed brilliantly, even though I was often frustrated when the details were kept back for what I thought was longer than necessary.
Now the narration.
So, I was uncomfortable when the more intimate parts of the story happened because the narrator sounded like she had a childish voice, especially when agitated. It went up an octave and squeaky, too. It did calm down, or I got used to it, but that was what stood out for me the most.
There were many different characters that she had to read, but the accent changes weren't believable.
Rands' voice was supposed to be English, but the narrator rolled the r's as though he were American at times. Also, the fae's accents were so different. When I thought I was listening to an Irish accent, it'd change way too much.
They were kind of all over the place, and that's why I had to rate 3 for narration.
But, all in all, I thought the story was fantastic, and when it ended, I was hoping for a book 7.

More adventure, some love, some tragedy & loose ends tied up, what more could you ask for from a series finale? Looking forward to the spin off!

Great closure, grand finale!
Audiobook narrated by Gwendolyn Druyor, she knows her characters well, nicely edited. What a great finale to the series, finally I get what I needed from the characters, the world, and all the story behind it all. Zorah and Rans were fantastic. I so love Rans at this point. Nice way to close the series with a happy ending, the spin-off series are calling my name.

Loved every minute of it
Another riveting collaboration by R.A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf, the two authors, make an unbelievably great team. The series is fantastically composed, engaging, and utterly addicting. The characters are well-developed, intriguing, and appealing. The since the start of the series, you see them grown into their roles, particularly Zorah.
Gwendolyn Druyor's performance is outstanding. Her emulations of the characters' personalities and emotions are spot on, further immersing the listener. Overall, this is an incredibly entertaining series with fabulous characters and brilliant narration, and I highly recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
