Summary

The second captivating installment of Aleron Kong's Chaos Seeds series.

"We are life takers and heartbreakers," Richter shouted. "Let's go!"

Richter and Sion are at it again! Even more of what you loved in the first book. Leveling, world building, awesome items, and what's that you say? Sure! Why not? What's a little necrophilia between friends?

Join your favorite Chaos Seed as he answers the call of adventure and deals with the invaders, greedy dwarves, and a wood elf that keeps telling him he has a pretty mouth. Welcome back, my friends!

Welcome back...to The Land.

Awesome

I’ve been an avid fantasy reader for about 20 years “I’m only 29 so that’s a long time for me lol” I’ve honestly never come across this genre before . I stumbled across this author purely based on the fact that I’ve started listening to audio books while working and the narrator for these books “nick podehl” has become one of my favourite narrators whilst listening to some of the other work he’s been involved in. Can honestly say that these books have opened my eyes to a whole new genre of fantasy and that the author now has a fan for life. Great character building, great world building and a perfect mixture of humour and action that have had me chuckling to myself like a lunatic whilst listening. Also made a perfect choice in narrator. I’m nearly through book 4 and can’t wait to devour everything else the author has to offer .

Great audio

The story is amazing and have read the book several times, the audio is only made better by the great work from Nick Podehl. Very pleasant to listen and makes long drives much more bearable.

Nick Podehl is great!

And the story of the series is compelling as well. still going strong through the first two books at least.

Dungeon filler

While I definitely enjoyed the book, I can’t help but think that the majority of the book felt like a filler installment, as a lot of the book was dedicated to a pretty ”side-quest”-feeling dungeon, that they explored every inch of. Also hard to not be bothered by how the main character always just acts on a whim, not really consulting anyone, despite the many times those types of actions being big mistakes (which he admits and are ashamed of, but continues to act the same way)

If you liked the first you'll love the second

Really enjoying the story it's like playing an RPG when you physically can't. same issues as the first repetitive prompts but it's to be expected. really enjoyable story

Sion and Rickter begin to properly kick ass!

Sion and Rickter are two of the best characters I’ve listened to in years, and undoubtedly the best in litrpg, the friendly banter as they grow and develop the most village and surrounding area is brilliant, treat yourself to this, you won’t regret it!
