About this listen

Oh dearie me, the remote Scottish island of Vik is overrun with treasure hunters, Hollywood has arrived to film the next big blockbuster and Mrs Hubbard has accidentally poisoned Police Scotland. What a stramash!

When Colin the curator is found bludgeoned to death in the museum, it's down to the island weight-loss group, Losers Club, to investigate. Following in the footsteps of Colin, the Losers Club friends find themselves hunting a lost Jacobite treasure and unravelling an international conspiracy. Who are the mysterious secret keepers, who killed Colin and what terrible, terrible thing has Gordon done?

“Sandra next door”

Hilarious characters - fantastic story - loved every minute! Would recommend 100%! I love the fact that “Sandra next door” is called “Sandra next door” all the time - even to her face!

Who knew murder could be such fun?

This is the second in the Loser’s Club series and it continues with the same, bright, amusing tone. The cast of characters from the first book continue to develop and are such an endearing mix. I’d simply love to be art of that group!

Hilarious and silly

Lighthearted and silly, this second part of the Losers club saga is another grand tale of friends working together to solve a crime, with many mishaps and innuendo. Not very happy with the reading, there's no pauses between chapters or changes of scene so it sounds as if one of the characters is still talking when she's starting a new scene, but otherwise, very enjoyable.

Laughing at the Losers!

this is the second book about the losers club members on the remote island of St Vic. The first book did a great job of introducing all the different characters whilst solving a crime, the second book however was a delve into the mind set of each member and their little idiosyncrasies. This book had me laughing out loud and holding my breath. A fantastic romp through land and sea and I can highly recommend this read.

Brilliantly bonkers murder romp

The Second book in losers club is as funny and engaging as the first with the usual fantastic characters and a plot with plenty of side stories to keep all the characters engaged. the story is brought to life by the exceptional narration

Absolutely amazing!

It's clever, funny and well paced. The characters are real and you are made to feel for then - even Sandra Nextdoor. Yvonne Vincent is the only author I would put in the same category as Richard Osman ... and she may even be a bit ahead.
