About this listen
A cosmopolitan title to get excited about in 2018!
Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases - a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with as well as way less experience in the dating department than the average 30-year-old. It doesn't help that she has Asperger's and that French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. She decides that she needs lots of practice - with a professional - which is why she hires escort Michael Phan.
The Vietnamese-Swedish stunner can't afford to turn down Stella's offer, and he agrees to help her check off all the boxes on her lesson plan - from foreplay to more-than-missionary position... Before long, Stella not only learns to appreciate his kisses but also to crave all of the other things he's making her feel. Their no-nonsense partnership starts making a strange kind of sense. And the pattern that emerges convinces Stella that love is the best kind of logic...

Slow beginning, but keeps you interested!
I have had this book on my kindle for a while, but never got around to reading it, however when I found the audible version, I finished it in maybe 2 days?
The start was quite slow-paced for me personally (the pace may be okay for others), but the content was there and kept you interested. Overall I loved the book and was quite disappointed at the end - only because I had finished it!
The narrators of the two main characters fit the personalities perfectly!

Worth a listen but nothing groundbreaking
I was drawn to this book by the interesting concept of looking at sex through the lens of asperger's. It was interesting but nothing special.
Some parts of the story seemed pretty forced, the initial dry cleaners bump into eachother and Michael's conflict with his dad was an unnecessary layer.
Not a book I would listen to again, but not a wholly enjoyable experience. If you are new to erotic literature (other than 50 shades), this isn't a bad place to start.

The nuances of people
Easy reading touching upon the complexities of people, how their past affects their present decisions and perspective with an innocent account of a rekationship and sexiness thrown in. A delightful enjoyable read

Good insight into how autism can effect relationships
if you are familiar with female autism, then you are aware that there are common ways it can very similarly present itself. However you will also know that traits can present themselves very differently from one female to another and no 2 people are alike. if female autism is something you are unfamiliar with, this book gives you some good insight into how females with autism copy 'mask' behaviour in order to fit in and how they learn to cope with the everyday struggles most people either don't notice or pay no attention to in everyday life, it gives some good insight as to how exhausting it can be, especially when it come to navigating relationships and friendships. As a mother of 2 daughters with autism and a woman who has it myself, my only criticism and it's a small one as I thoroughly enjoyed the book, is that it doesn't touch on the all too common 'melt downs' that occur when the brain and body have been coping with over stimulation, new experiences or simply having to make conversations. miss communication is common place and all these issues often result in blow ups and arguments. the book did a good job in showing how difficult it can be to put into words, how to express our feelings and emotions.
an excellent book that is excellently performed, it made me smile that there were so many elements to it that I could relate to. I highly recommend.

Go for the bride test if you have a choice
I read (not listened) the the Bride Test (second book of this author) und really liked it, so I decided to listen to this one, it is not as good and way too many bedroom scenes. There is still enough of it in her second book and the story is much better in my opinion. This was just ok.
