About this listen
Jim and Karen Blackmore have discovered that when it comes to the zombie apocalypse, there is no such thing as safety in numbers. Between their separate groups of survivors is a city of the living dead, hungry for flesh and growing in numbers by the minute.
As Jim and his newly minted gang of zombie killers fight their way to his family, Karen fortifies her hideout and prepares for an emergency escape she knows is inevitable. As night falls and their chances of seeing the dawn seem impossible, Jim and Karen's only wish is to reunite as the end of the world begins.

Women making a difference in a man's zombie world!
Really enjoy the different perspectives in The Infected. Karen and Tina are pretty cool characters, kicking butt in a zombie filled world.
However what is really off putting is how annoying highly intense the narrator is throughout the e tire book, hes almost shouting.
It took me a long time to listen too because he was such a struggle
I'm glad I did though as it was a good book.

Great story - odd narration
Love these stories, they're full of great action, drama and zombies! I like both Karen and Jim as lead protagonists, their individual story lines are equally enjoyable to listen to. The side characters are well written, and I'm feeling very suspicious of Leon at the moment - will listen to book 4 now.
Narration
Having listened to book one and two, I loved the narration on those two, this one is very bizarre. Dramatic pauses in strange places, at one point it was like the recording happened in a tunnel!! I'm not that impressed by the narrator at all.

Book 3
Excellent storyline loved the action and the fact that the characters are normal people not army, it makes you feel like the average person has a chance in the zompoc.

Bad narration!
After listening to the first two books which I thoroughly enjoyed I was excited to see there were more.Sadly I have only got one and a half chapters in when I have had to stop because of the narrator's reading style. There are odd inflections on very random words which leave the sentences disjointed and choppy and he goes from very quiet to SUDDENLY VERY LOUD!! Not sure who told him he was good at this but they were very wrong.I'll read the rest of the book rather than listen to it.
