Summary
A psychiatrist, Dr. Alistair Marchand lived the life of a recluse in his quaint farmhouse until the mercenaries arrived to kill him. The cultists that hired the killers labeled him an abomination and an affront to God. While the mercenaries had expected a quiet academic, they had no idea who and what he truly was, child of Nephilim and grandson of an angel.
As Alistair and his powerful friend, Finn, race to locate his siblings, the cultists begin their endgame. Replacing politicians in the European Union and controlling a new pontiff, they plan nothing less than the creation of a new Holy Roman Empire under their control.
Unless Alistair and his allies can put an end to the cultists, the course of Western civilization will be forever altered.

Unbound
I really enjoyed listening to A C Oliver, he has one of those voices you just want to listen to.
I love books that have old legends and modern . I now know what a Nephilim is. This a perfect start of a series. Heads up cliff hanger but you will want the next book asap.
It is a action thriller with a twist. I like Alistair . Love Siobhan, she is one strong kick butt woman.
Shadowy mercenaries are looking for our Dr Alistair and family....they are in a surprise, he is not what they expect.
We have great friends, allies and a mix of action, religion and past legends all in this short listen

Excellent gritty story
I enjoyed this book. When Alistair is attacked by a group of assassins he discovers a plot to destroy him and his siblings, so of whom are children of a Nephilim and have powers. An excellent storyline , well written and with an excellent narrator who gives the book an extra depth. The story has an ending leaving a lot more to come in the sequels. most of the characters have issues with violence and control. Family and friends are a major part of the story. I received a complimentary copy from the author and am leaving a honest voluntary review
