About this listen
Rich boys don’t fraternize with the help.
They don't torture the help.
They don't crave the help.
For as long as I can remember, my mom and I have lived on the edge of ruin, so when she finally gets a decent job offer, she moves us cross-country to take it.
Who cares if it means working as a live-in housekeeper for a man wealthier than God? The paycheck is good, and it comes with a roof over our heads.
She even manages to get me enrolled in the fancy prep academy his son goes to - the kind that spits out future CEOs and politicians like a vending machine.
But this new town has a few things my old one didn’t....
Like secrets that could get a person killed, and four of the hottest, meanest guys I’ve ever met.
I might live in their world now, but I am not a part of it, and they’ll do whatever it takes to remind me of that.
We go to school together, live together, and share a dangerous secret, but as far as Lincoln, River, Dax, and Chase are concerned...
I’m just the help.
Author's note: The Help is a reverse-harem high-school bully romance, the first book in the Kings of Linwood Academy trilogy. It contains cursing and sexual situations.

The Help
You may think this is your typical Bully to lover romance, but you are totally wrong. So much happens in this book that I can’t say anything without giving a spoiler and yet I want to tell you everything to get me over this book hangover. Gah! I need the next book now.

Excellent Listen
This is a perfect book for New Adults readers/listeners and still enjoyable by adults. The premises for the reverse-harem storyline is interesting, where the new girl in town falls with her bullies. The book is well-written, with an appealing plot and captivating characters. Amanda Stribling's narration is wonderful, her telling draws you further into the story. Overall, I really enjoyed this audiobook and look forward to the second instalment.

OMG
I really enjoyed this story much more than I thought I would. I was recommended it by somebody I trust well. So I thought, why not? I had my reservations due to a book I had thought was similar. It wasn't anything like that book though. It also wasn't as harsh as I thought it was going to be either. People always say don't judge a book by it's cover, but it should really be said that we shouldn't judge a book by preconceived notions as well. Though I should note the cover is absolutely gorgeous! The characters were pretty amazing too. Harlow was an inspiration. Her mother was as well. I don't understand why they didn't feel it important to tell everybody about Harlow's past with cancer. But maybe they felt it wasn't important. I wish we could have seen more of the "kings". I'd of even liked to get their points of view in many parts of this story. The narrator was very impressive. I feel she drew me into the story more than I already was. I'm not sure if I've ever listened to her before. I will give anything she narrates a chance in the future. I loved how emotions just seeped through her voice during the highly emotional parts. It definitely played on my own emotions. I can't lie. This book was amazing. I'm ashamed to say that I judged it wrongly. I thought it would be nothing but one cringe after another. I won't state the speculations and predictions I had about the book. I'm afraid it will make a person leery to read the book. Just know that they were wrong. And I'm happy about that.

The Help
This book was engaging and held my attention from the beginning to the end. It had a little sex and a lot of bullying mixed in with some mystery, danger, lies, secrets and murder. Unfortunately, it ends in a big cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to listening to book 2. Amanda Stribling did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Love it!
I absolutely loved The Help!
I loved Harlow. She’s simple but yet extraordinary. She’s sassy. And she’s not afraid to fight back.
The guys....I want them all. They’re all jerks but the best kind.
And the ending! 😱
Amanda did a great job narrating

I enjoyed it
The Help: A Reverse Harem High School Bully Romance is the first book in the Kings of Linwood Academy series by Callie Rose. I enjoyed this novel which had a bit of everything- romance, bullying, mystery, suspense, secrets, lies and a cliff hanger ending you would not see coming. It was fast-paced and steamy with some twists that will all have you hooked until the end. I liked the characters and the storyline and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this novel to all lovers of Bully romances.

What next?
This book had me constantly asking that.. What next? What could possibly happen next?
I will keep this as spoiler free as possible but the fact that all of them were together when it happened and they witnessed it all seems too coincidental. However, the story definitely kept me intrigued and wanting to know where things would end up.
I didn't see the cliffhanger coming, I mean I should have but I was entangled in the story and not realizing the book was almost over so when the cliffhanger hit and the book stopped I just sat there, and then realized that was the end. My mouth about hit the floor, how can you leave a book like that? How can you just stop there? It was like cruel torture. But I live for that! Ha call me a sadist if you will but it gets my adrenaline pumping.
The reverse harem aspect isn't what it seems in this book and makes me wonder if there will be more of a development throughout the next book.
The bullying aspect however seemed to be a bit over the top for me. Almost as if the author was trying to force it.
Now, with all that being said overall I would give this book a solid 4 stars. It was good, but not great. I hope to see more of a development in the next book.. for the relationships, the characters.. all of it. I want there to be more depth. I will say though, I was surprised by the back story of Harlow. That was a new twist. The troubles she's faced in such a short life are things nobody ever wants to face, but she came, she conquered, and she lived to tell the tale.
Amanda Stribling did a wonderful job on the narration of this book. Her voice was soothing and easy to listen to. She made the story more real, the emotions were felt through her voice.
