A bible for the APE brain 21st century life…
I've followed Jon's work for many years and have found it easy to incorporate the helpful suggestions in this book into my daily routines to help create better habits. Based on the latest scientific developments and insights, this book is the culmination of a lifetime of Dr Finn's work and breaks down cutting edge science into easily digestible and understandable chunks. Filled with practical suggestions and backed up by a bunch of online resources including free downloads and an app, I find myself referring to The Habit Mechanic again and again to tackle the problems that 21st century life continues to throw at what is essentially still a caveman's brain.

Bringing it all together
The breadth and quality of successful individuals cited and quoted by the author in this life altering book The Habit Mechanic informs readers and listeners of the quality of both the ideas and methods of instruction presented, which in turn lead to a way of better learning and understanding of the content.
Often when reading books it can be a dry experience and perhaps leads to gaps in the understanding, reading and listening fills those gaps.
This is a book that readers and listeners can refer to and continue learning from, for life.

Outstanding. Different from any other book in this space
Many other books intended to help people have sensible advice, and interesting insight. This book has all that but crucially, it provides the tools that the reader can use to build new habits, so that rather than just going back to how they were before, they can persist in achieving greater health, happiness and performance in all aspects of their lives.
