Wow! What a listen!
This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author. What a book, i couldn’t stop listening. The narration is excellent, and I will be looking for books narrated by this narrator. I’m off to look for my next book by this author. Highly recommended! ❤️

Not the best
The storyline was ok but a bit unrealistic and the voiceover with the different voices she adopted for the various characters were laughable and a bit irritating.

A simple story
Not gripping, but this left me wondering how it would end in spite of the narrator. She has a clear voice but the WHOLE story is read in an overly dramatic tone with abrupt sentences throughout even when the narrative did not need that. It became very annoying & I nearly gave it all up because of that.

Was bearable but that enjoyable
Got better towards the end, but I didn't care or find any of the characters likeable.
I have read many C.L.Taylor books and usually find them fantastic so I will still give her other work a chance.

this book does not pretend to be clever or even very realistic. I mean, how could so much drama and disaster happen to one person?. But I loved all the evils and their comeuppance, I liked Liv who was an unusual heroine, and her journey was funho! go get'm Liv!
