Credible narcissist?
Overall an excellent story, well paced and appealing characters. I struggled a bit with the narcissist villain, whose phraseology seemed strangely familiar. It was hard to believe that people slavishly followed the villain,, but maybe that’s because I am not American.
So was this book a crime thriller, or a political satire?

A great Lison
As his second book was very exciting from start to finish. Mr Deaver really sucks you in to the story. Well dramatized with lots of seat of your pants chapters

A rollercoaster ride of a read!
If you enjoy action, adrenaline and a fast moving, white knuckle ride of a devilishly twisted plot, then this book is for you. Unassuming action hero Colter Shaw will stop at nothing in his quest for justice and truth, and the story becomes more and more complex as it unravels. A deviously constructed story, which keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end, leaving the reader wanting more!
