About this listen
Cocky football players, school rivalry, and the girls who get in their way. Get ready.... The Raiders are back!
Felicity Giles has a list.
Lose her virginity.
Meet her knight-in-shining-armor and fall in love.
Have the best senior year a girl can have.
The only problem? Her knight isn’t a saint, he’s a villain, and she’s pretty sure he’ll destroy her before ever handing over a piece of his heart.
Jason Ford has a plan.
Win State and go down as one of the most successful quarterbacks in Rixon Raider history.
Head off to college and pursue his dream of being drafted to the NFL.
Avoid the girl under his skin. Felicity Giles, his stepsister’s best friend and perpetual pain in his ass.
She’s annoying as hell.
Quirky.
She’s a game to him, nothing more.
Until his arch rival comes after him and the few people he cares about...and Felicity gets caught in the crossfire.
And suddenly, hating her feels a whole lot like falling in love.
The Game You Play is the second book in the Rixon Raiders series. All books in this series can be enjoyed as stand-alones!

Full of heart and angst and everything in between
I anxiously, anxiously awaited the audiobook of Jason and Felicity's story. The tension was there in book one and I knew that book 2 would be lighting a match to a powder keg. This was definitely a bully romance that drew you in, you hate Jason as much as you love him. Felicity is no push over, and while you can tell her feelings run deep, she is not a masochist or one to beg for Jason's affection. Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross do a fantastic job narrating this story, infusing their performances with angst, aggression, longing and love. This is a must read if you are a fan of enemies to lovers, bully romance, new adult, and sports romance. This review was made by an #audiobookobsessionreviewer

The Game You Play
Oh how I loved this book! It is a fantastic continuation of the previous book even though it can be read as a stand-alone since it’s a different couple. This group of teens learn so much about growing up and being more mature, but you will definitely see the invisible teen actions as well. I had so many emotions pulled out of me while listening to this that I believe I may have a book hangover. Great listen for all!

Interesting twisted story
I feel like this story really had me hooked in at the beginning all the way until the end to see where these characters were going to end up. The characters I loved while I guess Jason I hated for a while but I feel like it's because we didn't really understand him. This story of a football rivalry has really on the next level and for a story set in high school I did love all the drama. This story I feel like did a great job getting you hooked into the characters emotions keeping you on the edge of your seat to see what was going to happen next. I also have to say that I think that the dual narration was great with this story and that these are some of my favorite narrators. Overall I really enjoyed pretty much everything about this book both the story and the narration if you're looking for a sports high school rivalry romance this one's for you.

The Game Is A Hit With Me👍
L.A. Cotton, you wrote a 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hit with this installment of "The Game You Play, Book 2 of Rixon Raiders Series." Jas and Felicity love story will be one I'll remember for a longtime.
It was filled with so much RAW emotions and unforgivable pain, it enthralled me in wanting MORE of their story. It was intense and sexually CHARGED. "The Game You Play" is a Must-Read-Romance.
Now, for our narrator's Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross. They are my 'Dream Team' of Audiobooks. If I see their names on the cover, I know I'm going to love it because of them.
Sarah and Wen knows how to bring it to WIN it. They became Jas and Felicity to bring them to life. I freaking love this duet. You guys deserve every bit of these 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

Loved book 2 so damn much!
I really wanted to hear this book because I was looking for closure between what was up between Jace and Thatcher. This explains a lot into Jason’s attitude and actions. This book is full of angst again and New Adult romance is ripe for it!
Really, really enjoyed this book but I can’t wait for Asher and Mia’s story and hopefully Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross do the next book in this amazing series.

4.5 Stars
Book 2 of the Rixton Raiders series focused on Felicity Giles and the high school Royalty-the Raiders QB Jason Ford.
Felicity has been his stepsisters best friend for years, and his bullying of her best friend, has severely impacted Felicity's social life but its her Senior year, and shes determined to make the most of it. She even wrote a list of things she wants to achieve and no one is going to stop her... in fact, Jason ends up helping tick off a very important item off her list during a trip to New York, and he's been obsessed with hooking up with her again ever since he swiped her V Card.
"He wasn't a white knight swooping in to win the damsel's heart. He was the evil Prince out to wreck and ruin and leave a trail of broken hearts in his wake."
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first in the series, thankfully there's zero annoying cliffhangers and it can be read as a standalone.
Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross did a great job narrating.

Great story, and an outstanding performance.
This is the second book in the Rixon Raiders series and Wowzer! It was every bit as good as The Trouble With You. This story focuses on Felicity and her best friends stepbrother Jason. Of all the men to fall for she had to pick the guy that she didn’t even like. The whole school either wants him of wants to be him. Except Felicity, but of course the path of true love never runs smoothly…
The writing was moreish, enticing and the characters were so well developed and kept my interest. I needed to know what happened next!
I would say that you would be best off reading the first book in the series for two reasons. Firstly, these characters have a backstory that you get the full benefit of The Game You Play. Secondly, The Trouble With You is a fantastic read/ listen.
This is a hot read that has been once again narrated to an amazingly high standard by the super talented Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross. They can narrate sexy scenes without them becoming smut. I consider this to be a huge bonus. Their characterisation is again sublime, and I just love their voice acting.

Love it!
Gah. I loved this audio! LA Cotton brings another book that just sucks you in and keeps your attention!
I hated Jason all through out the first book and probably the first half of this one. I just wanted to reach through and smack him upside his head. That being said, I loved hearing him lose his “I have no time for distractions” attitude and fall for Felicity. I also love the fact she’s not the typical girl a popular guy would go for, especially not QB One. Felicity is a sweet girl that has a bucket list she wants to accomplish before she graduates. These two go back and forth, push and pull. But when they’re chemistry is always 🔥.
Sarah Puckett & Wen Ross together are a match made in heaven. I can listen to both of them all day!

Really liked it
I listened to book 1 which focused more on Hailee and her relationship with her stepbrother Jason so I was happy to be listening to book 2 in the series.
This book focused on Jason and Hailee’s friend Felicity, and again is a hate/love book and is told in both Jason and Felicity’s POV.
Jason is a player, and he disappointed me a lot through the book, he used Felicity so much and it angered me. What angered me more was Felicity put up with it even though she was crumbling inside!
BUT, we do see a softer side to Jason when he lets his walls down, which kind of redeemed him.
Overall I really liked it, it can be listened or read as a standalone book. The narration was great as was the story.

Love To Hate Him
Jason and Felicity have a love hate relationship, but she gets hurt more than he does. They want each other and have a strong attraction for each other. Jason has a hard time admitting that he is falling for Felicity, because already is in love with him. I love this story better than the first book. The drama and the crazy ride these two put you in throughout this book. Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross did a fantastic job in narrating this story.
