Summary
Lust. Mystery. Betrayal.
Weston Cavendish. My brother's best friend. I'd perfected the art of pretending that I didn't want him, that he didn't affect me every time he was near.
Or so I thought.
When his world comes crashing down, I'm the one he turns to, and I can't deny my feelings any longer.
I know there's something between us.
Until he finds out that I've been hiding things from him, too.
Broken and betrayed, can we pick up the pieces and work together to expose the truth?
The odds are stacked against us.
But I won't give up without a fight.
The Fight in Us is a stand-alone story but is best enjoyed after the previous three books in the series. This mature new adult romance may contain triggers for some listeners.

great all round
This story revisits the characters from the Four series and we finally see West's story. The story deals well with some delicate subjects.
as with the other books in this series, the group are sleuthing as well as romancing. This does deal with the subject of endangering animals and I would caution reader about that but the story really is a gritty, steamy romance. With strong friendships, loves and family bonds. This is the story that, for me, answered several outstanding curiosities.
There is scope for more books in this series, though this story does not end on a cliffhanger.
Once again, the narration was excellent, with both narrators showcasing their impressive vocal skills

Quite Good! Great Narration
It was a good story, it picks up the loose end about the dog fighting that was left unresolved in the past book. The story has just the right amount of angst and suspense, not as much as the 3 previous books, but enough to make things interesting and not boring. For a moment I thought it was going to end up on a cliffhanger, but it doesn't. Everything ends up resolving in the last minute which wasn't that rushed actually, it felt right.
I liked that Lena and Wes got to have their HEA, their great for each other. Now I really want to read the books for the other 2 of their group.
The narration was super good, you cannot except anything less from Gregory Salinas and Kelli Tager.

Oh My Wow!
I thought when I listened to the first three books that all the loose ends had been tied up beautifully. That was until I listened to this book and realized just how many ends of the story were left to tie up. It was a really beautiful story. It’s technically a standalone, but the first three definitely need to be read first to understand. They are all very wonderful reads that I fully recommend.

LOVED SO MUCH!!!!
WOW I LOVED THIS ONE THE MOST!!! Lena and West were incredible! The chemistry, the angst, the fire just had me on my toes the entire time I was listening. And brothers best friend types arent usually my go to so for this to be my fave in the series says so much. Thank you Pink flamingo for this amazing audio. The narration was PERFECTION as usual.

Technically stand alone but better in series
This is technically a stand alone and focuses on a different couple than the first book, but I don't think I would have liked it as much if I hadn't already listened to the first series. To put it mildly, a lot of stuff happened during books 1-3 and it leads into this book. The key events are briefly explained (so there would be some major spoilers if you listened out of order), but I appreciated the background I had from actually listening to the other books before starting this one. Sometimes it felt like the steamy scenes were a little drawn out and slowed down the action, so if you're looking for something with a lot of heat along with the action this would be a good choice.
I listened to the audiobook and both narrators did an amazing job. I'm not actually from England so I don't feel like I can judge their accents, but Gregory Salinas and Kelli Tager both included a lot of inflection in their performance and managed to make most of the characters have distinct voices despite the number of recurring male characters. I'm glad I listened to the book rather than just reading it.

Love Weston and Lena
The Fight in Us is another exciting story in The Four series! I love Weston and Lena's book. It is filled with danger and suspense. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning until the end. Kelli Tager & Gregory Salinas both did a great job bringing this story to life.

Mystery, Suspense, Romance, The Best
I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of Pink Flamingo Productions review team. This, the 4th book in this series, is a stand alone, but it helps to have the background of the first three to fully enjoy the story. This story is a about a couple that are part of "The Four" introduced in the previous stories. The mystery and suspense builds throughout this story. It was a surprise to find out who the mysterious "Mercury" was in this book. Lena and Wesley are part of the previous 3 books, but their relationship grows in this story. Loved the plot line, that includes suspense, mystery, romance and, of all things, dog fighting. The author writes a high quality story. The narrators did an excellent job with the characters, their personalities and the overall story. Couldn't stop listening.
