Summary

So romantic and fierce
Loved it both main characters are strong and caring.

TOO Ridiculous.
Why write a historical novel set in a particular time with all the societies rules and regulations. Then, have the characters behave as though they are in the 21st century. Even American women in their "high societies" in that period of time didn't have these so-called freedoms described in this book. The Heroine, if caught, would have become a piranha. A woman, no matter what she looks like, who dresses up and behaves like a man is a "certain type of woman," not acceptable to any decent person. The Hero would have been derided by his fellow males for so humiliating the male sex. Even if they married, they would not be accepted in any decent society.
I haven't got to the end yet, but don't hold out that much hope for sanity to return.
