Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Local girls are going missing.

And the secrets lie close to home...

Following their father's death, Cass and her sister Sid will do whatever it takes to keep their family's dive school afloat.

It used to be the go-to destination in Cornwall for those keen to explore the ocean's hidden depths. But when Cass returns from a long trip, she's shocked to discover how bad things have become.

The business is in decline. Sid's new boyfriend has far too much control over the accounts - and her sister.

Then, Cass discovers a body in the water. And as more girls go missing, she wonders just how far someone will go to keep their secrets buried...

Original Plot, Excellent Writing. Her Best yet.

I found this to be a refreshingly different plot after listening to very many domestic dramas. The book is about a family run diving school in Cornwall which finds itself in financial difficulties. Alongside this plot line we hear of local young women disappearing.
Excellent writing, had me gripped all the way though. Peril in the right places.
Just perhaps a little niggle that the book came to a nail-biting climax 30 minutes before the end, then not much else happened.

High tension thriller

Great story and excellent narrator. Well defined and complex characters. Keeps you guessing until the end. Highly recommend.

Another amazing story by Helen!

Loved the storyline and the plot. It had me constantly listening when I had the chance to hear just one chapter more! As someone who grew up in Cornwall it was so lovely to hear place names and landmarks I recognised. Fab book!
