Need to start at the beginning.
The deadly judicial affair is part of a cozy mystery series. It’s the only one I’ve read and this has affected my review because this would have been better if I’d understood the background to the story.
Daisy and Gavin are a meddling couple now there previous case is over (which must have been in the last book) they find themselves with a new mystery. The affair kind, but all is not what it seems. This felt like the second half of a book making it difficult to fully enjoy.
The narrator reads the story well and the twist makes a good ending.
ARC in exchange for an honest review.
