Summary
Something dropped out of the wardrobe door with a soft thump. The something was a hand, a man’s hand....
When Juno Browne purchases a wardrobe to stock in her fledgling antiques store, she doesn’t expect to find a dead body inside. And when the man she bought it from, rascally farmer Fred Crick, is found battered to death in his blazing cottage, the hunt for a double murderer is on. Despite the police struggling to connect the two deaths, this time Juno is resolved to ignore her impulse to investigate.
Until, that is, a stranger arrives who bears an uncanny resemblance to the dead man in the wardrobe. Determined to discover how his identical twin brother died and impressed by Juno’s reputation in the local press as Ashburton’s amateur sleuth, Henry Gillow tries to drag her into his quest to solve the mystery, with disastrous results.

Absolutely love this series but badly read
Third one I have accessed in this series and absolutely love them. The performance of this however has spoiled it. It’s far too mechanical and poor impersonating of other characters.
Sticking with it as I enjoy the series but not impressed with the narrator

Wonderful
The whole Juno series is wonderful.
It's funny, intriguing and addictive.
Being from Devon, I loved all of the town references, they are spot on.
A very cosy read, impossible to put down.
100% recommend

Disappointed by the change of narrator!
I really enjoyed the previous Juno Browne books, however, this book has a different narrator which ruined it for me.
The narrator of the previous books really brought the characters to life, however, the narrator of this book, just didn't manage to do that! Juno and Daniel's voices in particular, just didn't fit.
For me, the story was not as good as the previous 3 books in the series but maybe that was partly due to me not liking the narration of this one? The story was also a bit too predictable at times.
