Summary

Brought to you by Puffin.

The second audiobook in the latest series from international bestselling author, Rick Riordan

He was once an immortal God, now he's an awkward teenager. Things aren't going well for Apollo.

There's only one way he can earn back Zeus' favour, and that's to seek and restore the ancient oracles - but that's easier said than done.

Apollo must head to the American Midwest where, rumour has it, a haunted cave may hold answers.

There are a few things standing in his way though. The cave could kill him, or drive him insane.

Oh, and a Roman Emperor, whose love of bloodshed makes Nero look tame.

To stay alive, Apollo needs the help of a mortal goddess, a bronze dragon, and some familiar faces from Camp Half-Blood.

Will he survive the greatest challenge of his four thousand year existence?

Great.

I am gutted that I have to wait for the next book. It's a great story, and a strong follow up to the series.

Amazing

Hallarious !😀 good length. Make sure you have read the previous or it will not make sence. Also helps if you have read Percy Jacksons and heros of Olympus

It's not the same

I have always been a big fan of Rick Riordan, which is probably the only reason that I read this book. I am slowly realizing that I am no longer in the recommended age group for his writing anymore, and this was probably a testimony to that. I will forever love the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus series, but this book did not hit home in the same way. If you are in middle school or younger please disregard this, but if you like me are still riding the Percy Jackson wave, I'm sorry to say that this will never live up to the quests with Percy, or the Argo II seven.

Good as always🤩

I loved the narrator in this book, the structure of the book was really good. Also, the unpredictability of Meg was very interesting . To describe this book in one word would be: gripping
