About this listen
The gang from the Crafternoon Sewcial Club are back for another adventure!
The Crafternoon Sewcial Club’s going from strength to strength, although Charlotte Newman is far from resting on her laurels. And why would she? After all, she’s living her perfect life.
So when a chance encounter highlights the sorry plight of parents unable to afford school uniforms, Charlotte is itching to develop a solution. And before too long, she’s initiated a clothing exchange program christened ReCyCool.
Unfortunately, news of her fledgling enterprise is painfully slow to travel around the Isle of Man, putting it in real danger of falling at the first hurdle. So if it has any chance of succeeding, Charlotte will have to arrange something spectacular to raise the profile and get the word out.
Then, after considerable deliberation, the solution presents itself, and the wheels of the island’s very own Sewing Bee competition are set in motion. And who better to help Charlotte host the hottest event in the island’s crafting calendar than Joyce, Beryl, Larry, and the rest of her Crafternooners?

Easy listening
I listened to the end as it was easy to do things with it on in the background as the plot is quite simple. The narrator misreads words and gets the voices confused at times. The inflexion is wrong in some sentences, with emphasis placed on the wrong words or syllables subtly changing the meaning of the text.
The writing is juvenile using too many conjunctions, adverbs, adjectives, and speech verbs are often repeated, which becomes tedious. Both the book and audiobook deserve better editing. HOWEVER, I did listen to the end as I enjoyed the story and characters.

Brilliant
The second book of this series didn’t disappoint, it was funny and had great characters in it. Looking forward to listening to the next one

Alright, but boring at times.
It was ok. Not as good as the first book, was quite boring at times and lots of times there were "closed questions", ie. a question is asked then answered yes. Very annoying as this is usually used as a dodgy sales technique and that has completely put me off the book! I might add, that I am an avid crafts woman and expected to really enjoy this book, but I didn't.
