Easy listening
Nice easy stories to listen to and a great narrator. Sadly not the best production I have listened to. Too many long gaps between sections, spoilt the flow of the performance.

Good holiday reading
Like all of the books in this series, it evokes small town America, the weather, its pioneer history, and what it must be like to live in that sort of community. The main character is likeable and although I don't usually like books that are 'fanciful', which they are in regard to the cats, you can easily suspend disbelief as they are well written and very well read. I shall be very sorry when I have finished the series. Start at the beginning if you are new to them as characters appear and reappear.
