About this listen

Performed with duet narration by Connor Crais and Erin Mallon!

A forbidden romance with my brother’s hockey teammate wasn’t on my to-do list when I moved across the country…

Neither was getting locked out of a friend’s place wearing next to nothing.

Or spending the night with the sexy stranger who rescues me.

But I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone so getting out of the rest of my clothes with him seems like a good way to start.

In the morning, I learn the filthy-mouthed man with the talented hands is not only the hotshot new hockey player on my brother’s team: he’s also–wait for it–my brand new roommate.

I’m a good student turned good librarian. A rule-follower. I’m not the kind of girl who does complicated flings. So we agree to another rule: friends-only.

It’s not easy though. Wes is bossy, flirty and generous.

He gives me rides to work.

Pitches in at my library’s fundraiser.

Takes care of me when I get hurt.

And looks at me like I’m the only one.

Soon, I’m falling hard for my brother’s teammate.

Especially when Wes comes to my door and tells me exactly how he’d like to break our rules.

Every single one.

Another great book by Lauren Blakely, I am definitely a new fan!! Hockey / Brothers Best Friend / Living Together by accident / One Night Stand and then some... So many brilliant tropes in one book!

This was a really good read and great dyslexia representation too from the cool character that made it clear that this could be anyone and it's OK! I loved that. Romance was on point, spice was top tier and a perfect HEA as well, what's not to love 💜

I listened to the audiobook of this book and the dual narration was brilliant. I really love that in an audiobook, it makes it so much easier to follow and so much more enjoyable for me. 5/5 definitely recommend ✨

Wesley & Josie

Soo good! Josie and Wesley were fantastic. How they bring each other out of their shell and try new, different things was so cute.
Erin Mallon and Connor Crais were amazing as Josie and Wesley.

I just love a good old fashioned hockey romance

A one night stand turns into so much more in this fun hockey romance. We all know that rule, no one touches a teammate’s sister, it’s completely forbidden. But, what happens if you didn’t know she was your teammate’s sister? It makes absolutely no difference! Hands Off! But then your wonderful, trusting teammate asks a huge favour, and all bets are off. The hockey player and the librarian. Wesley and Josie are super fun and super cute together, and the story, no games, just pure romance is super sweet (and of course super sexy). The only problem these two have is keeping their feelings on the down low. They’re the perfect match. The fact that there’s a time limit on Josie’s stay in the city though, is not the only hurdle they’ve got to jump. Don’t let the team captain or the pushy dad bully you Wes! Narrated in duet by Erin Mallon and Connor Crais who are perfect as Josie and Wes, LB does have the best narrators, I’m never disappointed. I received a complimentary copy of this audio book. This is my honest review.
