Summary

The first book in a new series spanning worlds and ages. A war is raging between gods and demons, with an unstoppable interdimensional terror - THE BLEED - destroying everything it touches. From ancient alien civilisations through to modern day London, through to deep space and beyond, nothing and no one is safe. The Bleed wants flesh. It wants to destroy life. It wants to be worshipped.

London: next week.
The Bleed strains at the edges of reality, and God has come to help Earth make a stand against the demons from beyond, but it's going to come down to one frightened kid to save the entire planet from a blood-soaked fate.

The moon: sometime in the future.
A covert mission to colonize the moon is Earth's last chance. The mission is going well, until the brand-new technology used to operate the colony begins failing mysteriously. Will the survivors of Earth's civil war be caught up in a larger conflict they couldn't ever know anything about?

Another world: another time.
The gods of this world left to fight the Bleed. The war raged on the horizon, at the very edge of this reality. One morning there are screams at the shore and the red tide arrives. The war against the monsters of the Bleed is no longer forgotten history, it's happening now.

It Always Bleeds Through. Three Worlds. Three Authors. The Mother of All Apocalypses.

A good story, very enjoyable.

The British accent’s are off the mark by quite some distance. Despite this I really enjoyed this first book and consequently have downloaded book 2 “Rapture”. The character’s have grown on me and the strange accent is a minor issue.

Great new series!

Two of my favourite authors have come together with a new author to me and written the start of a fabulous new series. I love the characters, the concept and the story. It feels fresh and original but with the great writing and characters of three experienced authors. I can't wait to read David Moody's works now. And of course I can't wait for book two of The Bleed.

Good narration if you can ignore the dodgy English accents. They certainly didn't spoil the story for me.

Give it time! Awesome.

Its a really good book, three writers in one. Its a little bit hard to get into at the start (jumps between places and time) but give it time then it becomes really good. I have most of Mark Tufo's books and him as a co-writer is what drew me to it. I think I can tell which parts are his. Would have been more awesome with Sean Runnette and a good british voice actor doing the different characters. The british seems far to American, small point but as a common Brit it hurts.

Performance carried the book

so far this is fine. Some things are seemingly random at the moment but may connect or make sense later in the story.
There isn't likely much that will wow you reading this, but it's a fun story that is performed very well. Although one of the bad guys does sound like bargain basement Bane (that could be good or bad).

Dreadful accents ruined fantastic book.

The English accents are dreadful, they made it hard to listen to this book. It would be a 5 star but the narrator when trying to speak in an English voice is comically bad.
The story is great & very entertaining. But the accents really bring you out of it, making you hate parts.

Appalling accents!

I had to return this book after the first 15 minutes. The English accents are an insult. For a book set in London or anywhere with a distinct accent, there are 3 acceptable options 1) get a local actor 2) get an actor who can do the accent justice 3) don't attempt the accent just read the book.

Terrible

I like Mark Tufos books but everything about this is awful especially the narration, the English voice is the worst I’ve ever heard. I tried to return it but couldn’t do a waste of a credit
