This is the best in the series!

I listened to two others in this series and this one is heads and shoulders above. There is some truly creative thinking in this set. I highly encourage you to Listen.

a very mixed selection, with a few gem

a very mixed bag. I loved the fact that there was a very diverse set of stories set in so many different countries and cultures, and there were a couple of really great stories.
On the whole though, more than half of these were very dull, and not helped by some monotonous narrators. Made it difficult to concentrate. skipped 3 of 4 entirely after 10 minutes.
but I it was free on Audible Plus so can't complain too much

Not very interesting.

I felt that in general the stories were a bit forgettable. Obviously it's just my opinion and it's not fair to all of them.

Poor narration

Zen, carnival 9, chosen one, secret life and smoke of gold are well worth listening to. Probably some others too, but in general the narration was so bad it was distracting.

Why all the good revues???

I was sadly disappointed with this book. Some of the stories seem neither sci-fi or fantasy, some are not really stories just interludes that end without a conclusion. All were dismal and depressing.... apart from the first tail which was lighthearted and a fun story about server bots. I must have been listening to a different book than everyone else.
