Helpful, practical, compassionate, effective

I found this book very helpful. The strategies were clearly explained with reasons for them, consequences of not following them and detailed descriptions of how to carry out strategies for a wide variety of situations that commonly come up with puppies. I have had three dogs from 1 year up but never from new born so I was very keen to hear insights in this area and I was not disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Too punishing

Very well read but a bit old fashioned style of dog training. If you think it is still okay to jerk your dog's collar and rap it under the chin, this book is for you. It is not for me.
