Summary

Great story, well read
I finished this book in one sitting as I was hooked in by relatable characters sandwiched perfectly with fantasy plot points.

Good narrator, story could be improved
This book has a lot of potential but unfortunately also a lot of issues. A lot of the plot doesn't really make much sense and for being branded as a "queer fantasy novel" the whole world of the wolf pack felt very heteronormative and unwelcoming. The relationship between the main couple doesn't really evolve during the whole book and the ending is very unsatisfying. I liked the voice and style of the narrator.

an intriguing start to a hopefully a series
