Summary

The Netherfield Ball: classic. Predictable. Immortalized.

But what if Elizabeth were forced to relive it over and over and over again? Night after night after night?

Elizabeth: clever. Witty. Confident. Suddenly, her confusion and desperation make her question things she long thought she knew.

Mr. Darcy: proud. Unapproachable. Ill-tempered.

In this world where nothing is as it seems, Elizabeth must learn to see through new eyes. Including a man she thought she hated.

Let the hilarity ensue.

Groundhog Day meets P&P

I've read this book on Kindle and in paperback and enjoyed it so bought the audible version too. it's a great romp as Lizzy faces the day of the Netherfield ball again and again. This allows Darcy and Elizabeth to gradually get to know and understand each other; although only Lizzy is revisiting the day anew.
Will our dear couple reach their happy ever after?

Great fun

A very enjoyable short novel. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and but is well executed. At times very funny and very sweet.

Great fun!

This is a quick, easy and thoroughly enjoyable story. Groundhog Day meets P&P as Elizabeth relives the Netherfield ball over and over again! The story is funny, touching and sweet in turns. I love the moments when she just does whatever she wants, but the best thing is the slow growth of her feelings for Darcy. It's completely organic, in character and makes perfect sense.

Great!

I have been contemplating reading this book for a long while and each time I would see it on my wish list I would get sceptical and say no. This time I said yes and WOW am I glad I did. This was not at all what I had expected, but SO much better. I am learning to take a chance on the P&P variations I find that sometimes can sound a bit ridiculous, and I am all the more grateful for it.

This was a lovely story and I do believe that I would listen to it again.

Take my advice dear reader. Take a chance once in a while. More often then not, you might just be pleasantly surprised.
