Summary
There's a new squad in town... Seniors Phyllis Habernackle and Char Bailey are witches with a problem. Dealing with the recent loss of one of their oldest and dearest college friends, the women discover the dearly departed has bequeathed her estate to them! Unfortunately, she didn't leave it only to them. She also left it to two other old witches.
Decades ago, the five women had been inseparable while together attending the Paranormal Institute for Witches, situated high in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in cozy, Aspen Falls, Pennsylvania. But thanks to a betrayal no one saw coming, they've been feuding ever since.
Now the four witches, along with one geriatric mother, must come together to discover what tore them apart all those years ago and unravel a new mystery that is bigger than any of them could have ever anticipated.
Will it pull them closer together? Or will the wedge that kept them apart for decades widen and ruin their friendship forever? For fans of The Witch Squad Cozy Mystery Series - this new spin-off features an off-beat cast of hilarious witches that will have you laughing out loud. Rejoin old friends, Phyllis, Char, and Vic, and meet new friends Loni Hodges and Gwyn and Hazel Prescott. Plus enjoy cameo appearances by some of your favorite characters from The Witch Squad. Some mature language is present in this book.

Golden Girls as witches!!
This book is one to listen to if you want escapism. It is silly, funny... actually very very funny in parts, and light hearted. I enjoyed it. I likened it to The Golden Girls in a form of older witches. It had me laugh out loud in places and it was great. The characters are brilliant and so well described that you clearly picture them in your mind! This is superb writing and is a skill! Looking forward to the next!

Wow, magic and laughs what more could you want
I loved this book. I am a big fan of the authors Witch Squad series so jumped at the chance to listen to a new series. So glad I did I loved it. Just like the witch squad series but older (kind of like the adult version, in both the characters and in the jokes) and it contained a lot of the characters from the series too. You don't need to have heard about the witch squad to enjoy this book but I think it helps add a smile to your face when a character you know is mentioned. This book also contains some great and whacky characters that you just can't help but for in love with. It is a nice mix of personalities from worry wort Gwen, to handful Hazel, to loony Loni and all have there own individual powers , that make them such a great team and coven. The mystery is also good and keeps you guessing as to who the killer is, the use of magic is fun and gets them into trouble just like the teenagers. Definitely want the author to write more books in this series because I just want get enough of this fun and quirky group of friends.
With the death of Cat can four witches put aside there differences and find the friendship they once had? Aspen Falls is about to find out. Cat has left the four warring college friends her house with instructions that they are not allowed to sell it. Finally altogether for the first time since there college days the four ladies begin to unravel secrets that have been keeping them apart and one thing helping them reunite is the idea that there beloved friend was murdered and there is a killer roaming around Aspen falls killing witches. Can they find there friendship and there love of magic to help them stop a killer before he strikes again?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job giving each character there own unique and distinctive voice.

Awful voices!
Terrible narration, the voice of one of the witches was so annoying that I had to have breaks from the story, can't believe I actually got to the end.
