Editor reviews
Terry Funk, with the help of contributor Scott E. Williams, recalls his days as a professional wrestler in this wildly entertaining memoir. Funk details how his love of wrestling grew from a familial obsession to a career that took him all over the world, eventually leading to gigs with major pro organizations like WWF, ECW, and WCW, and Jeremy Arthur performs with a passionate, dramatic flair that fits its subject matter perfectly. Terry Funk: More than Just Hardcore is a fascinating look behind the scenes of the ever-changing landscape of pro wrestling, told by one of its most esteemed veterans.

A must for all Wrestling fans
16 years later this is still a great book. Soo funny in places. There's only one Terry Funk! Would recommend for any fan of Terry Funk or a Wrestling fan anywhere from the 60's-2005.

The Best And Most Real Wrestling Autobiography
this one has been my absolute favourite wrestling book so far I have read and listen to lots of the greats and this is right up there with Sabus book. really insightful and tells about Terry's incredible career both hardcore and beyond. it is absolutely incredible to hear about all of the.guys Terry has wrestled with and worked for and he tells it like it is. some truly laugh out loud moments in this book and he does not hold back.
I am truly gutted that it has ended it's that good.

A good listen, a little dated now
it's over 10 years old, but a great listen and the funker is quite preemptive in some of good predictions

great for a wrestling fab
overall I really enjoyed this but I did find it lacking in some areas. Maybe it was my own expectations but I was hoping for more information on the stories told. I feel like Terry was holding back because he either didn't want to expose too much or say the truth of some of his workers and friends.
He writes a good solid boon of his family and how he grew up. I loved that part. I really just wish for more from a legend that is Terry Funk because he has so many stories I bet he could tell.

Road stories from a true legend
This was an awe inspiring look into the life and career of Terry Funk. I stumbled upon it by chance and some 10 hours later I’ve discovered a newfound love and respect for him. Terry lived such a fascinating life and hearing stories from the road and reflections from someone in the business was really informative and at times very funny.
Definitely a must listen for all wrestling fans, both those who have devoutly followed his career and those who have only seen the occasional match.

Enjoyable for True Wrestling Fans
Terry Funk was one of my childhood heroes from wrestling. Always thought he was great. This is a little bit dated so you have to be aware of the time timeframe but i really enjoyed this regardless of this. Gives insight into the development of wrestling over different eras and contains some humour from on the road wrestling stories.
