Summary
In TAXTOPIA a rogue accountant breaks ranks to share his journey from clueless naïf to skilled tax consultant -and in doing so blows the lid on the murky world of making the tax burdens of the ultra-wealthy disappear.
In the topsy-turvy world of tax avoidance, you can get richer by buying a yacht, the world's biggest exporter of coffee is Switzerland, and the Duke of Westminster pays less tax than you do.
Written with sharp wit and over-brimming with inside secrets, the anonymous author shows us that not only does the global tax system encourage dubious practice which favours the rich, but that it was specifically founded with that in mind.
If you suspect that tax is a rigged game, a con, designed to fleece the little guy, you are about to find out just how shockingly true that really is.
Welcome to TAXTOPIA.

Wow, just wow.
The author is fantastic. The narrator great. I absolutely loved it. I thought I was rich. I have become disabused of that notion. Hilarious. I now am having philosophical dialogues with myself. Woop. wooop. Buy the book! buy the book. Comedy it is. Never ever buying a Starbucks again!

Fantastic
I thought this was a fantastic book. The author has made a somewhat "boring" topic fun and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone who wants to know how the rich save money or how they can keep more money in their pocket.

Really really really good
Not what I expected, an accountant with a sense of humour. What a fantastic story. It made me laugh out loud a few times.

Read this book!
Everyone who pays tax at a higher percentage than the rich, who squirrel away their finances so they pay virtually nothing, should read this book

How Frustrating
As if life isn't difficult enough, the people we elect and trust to serve our best interests go and screw us all over with an extraordinarilly complicated system for collecting taxes, that favours the rich and self interests of those who set them. This book highlights the problem, and offers some solutions, but sadly I suspect none of our leaders have the will or capacity or bravery to do the right thing and put matters right.

Entertaining and informative
I really enjoyed this and came away with some valuable food for thought. Is my adviser working for me or their fee has been a thought of mine for a long time and this book confirms that even more so.
