About this listen
First to join is Phoebe Rylander. She recently ended her engagement to a man who doesn't know the meaning of faithful, and she's trying to get over him. Then there's Alix Turner. She and her husband, Jordan, want a baby, which means she has to quit smoking. And Bryan Hutchinson joins the class because he needs a way to deal with the stress of running his family's business - not to mention the lawsuit brought against him by an unscrupulous lawyer.
Life can be as complicated as a knitting pattern. Just ask Anne Marie Roche. She and her adopted daughter, Ellen, finally have the happiness they wished for. And then a stranger comes to her bookstore asking questions.
Or ask Lydia herself. Not only is she coping with her increasingly frail mother, but she and Brad have unexpectedly become foster parents to an angry, defiant 12-year-old.
But as Lydia already knows, when life gets difficult and your stitches are snarled, your friends can always help!

Good already heart warming
One of a series though there is information in each book to re introduce how each character fits into the story. Pleasant reads with characters most people could relate to. Light hearted, flows well building in more people who inter relate as the books move on. A recommended read

A pleasant summer read
I was not expecting much of this book, as I have only read Debbie Macomber as a Mills and Boon author I thought that it would be a light predictable romance. But it was cheap and it was the summer so "why not?" I decided. I was quite wrong. It is an endearing tale of the struggles and relationship pains of a number of couples/families. I found it hard to sort out one story from another in th first chapter or so because I really was underestimating the amount of attention it would need but once it got rolling I really started to get drawn in. I found the American narrator a little irritating at first but she also grew on me and by the end of the book I was thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

A Little predictable
I found this ok, easy listening but predictable in how it would all turn out. I'm sorry to say but I really did not enjoy the reader's voice at all and that spoiled it for me a little. She placed great emphasis on bits of sentences where no emphasis was needed and I found her voice a bit harsh and grating.
