Not for audiobook

Interesting but poor production distracts the listener from the message. Need to see supporting material.

essential reading

Not enough emphasis is ever put on diet and nutrition when combatting disease generally. I am pleased and grateful to have read this book and gained so much. I strongly believe that nutritional science should be a mandatory requirement in general education and especially with medical sciences. Thank you Dr Li for bringing this book out to us all.

Review of Eat to beat Disease

Was a good summary. Pity there are repeats in parts where recording has repeated the written word. One needs the book to go back and revisit parts.

Affordable!!

If I could afford to buy a copy for everyone I love, I know I would. This book presents information about the healing properties of different types of foods and what they do. This book presents the science in a clear and concise way.

Poorly delivered

Simply didn’t get it! Conflicting information. If you didn’t know anything about health / nutrition it “ might” be of value

Better to buy the original book

I watched videos of Dr Li and was interested in his Eat to Beat Disease book. However, the full book wasn't available on Audible. I thought this synopsis might give me an insight into whether or not to buy the printed version. Well, I do wish to buy the book, but this audio presentation and the narration were not the inspiration to do so. The narrator's native tongue is not English, though he did his best with pronunciation, but whoever was responsible for editing did a poor job. Sentences repeated during narration were not edited out and there was even a burp and a cough that were not edited out. While it made me laugh, it was still an indication of a sloppy production. Don't bother buying it as an audio book, just go straight to buying the proper version written by Dr William Li.

.

I couldn't listen to this book for longer than 5 minutes because of the infuriating inflection of the narrator. Absolutely hideous.

Editing fail

I am really interested in this subject and actually got the book itself, but thought I’d try this while walking to work.
I must say this is definitely not worth a credit. Some sections are repeated, as if just copied and pasted. Needs re-editing. At one point it just sounds like the reader has a burp. Might be a cutting imperfection but should not have published like that.
