I was hooked from the opening chapter!
...and couldn't put it down!
This story is unique, full of passion and gripping writing. Joelle has a way of endearing you to her characters from the opening line and you just need to know more.
While these two are familiarly connected, Garrett and Tyler, are so sweet. A bit of longing, a bit of cluelessness and an awkward awakening and I am completely invested.
Such a great read. Steam, emotions and so much more!
Dynamic performance that gives life to the characters. Made it that much more enjoyable.

very enjoyable
Very enjoyable narrator who captured the characters really well.
A sweet coming of age stepbrother romance with enjoyable characters and believable plots. I particularly liked how Tyler was so very naive - I mean this in a very good way, most characters in many books just seem so very confident in a short time period even when they are experimenting. There are plenty of people who just don't see things as quickly, and there's nothing wrong with that, and it's good that Garrett accepted and supported Tyler so well there. The chapters written in different ages were done very well, and the characters felt like the right ages to match.
