A hot, kilt wearing biker...need I say more!
Okay, so I deliberately saved this book for today (25/01) as it’s Burns Night in Scotland and what better way to spend it than with a trouser hating, kilt wearing Scottish biker who also has a love of fighting.
I was completely spellbound by my first peek into the epically intense and dangerously thrilling world of the Ruthless Kings MC.
After losing his brother, Skirt (Rohan) promises to avenge his death and after moving to America finds a home and family with the Ruthless Kings MC.
Dawn is a strong woman despite the fact she’s been mentally, emotionally, and physically abused by her ex Cohen for years.
Skirt finds Dawn beaten, bruised, and left for dead in the road, as he swerves to miss her, he lands ass first on a cactus for his troubles. The chemistry and attraction between the two was evident right from their first interaction.
Joe Arden’s portrayal of Skirt was incredible! His Scottish brogue was extraordinary and the way he transitions from Scottish to English was amazing, there was even Italian, and a Nola accent thrown in there! I mean is there anything this man can’t do? A stunning, emotionally charged performance filled with all the hot, dirty talk that we love!
This is my first book narrated by Pippa and her performance as the broken but fiercely determined Dawn was exceptional!
This book will get you in the feels, have you laughing out loud and totally swooning over a hairy arsed Scotsman!
