About this listen
What if Hercules wasn’t the hero everyone thought he was?
His daughter, Lyssa, knows just how cruel he can be. But she has left that life behind, and now her battered smugglers ship, the Alastor, flies under everyone’s radar - just how she likes it.
The Gods have a different plan for her though. They’re about to break one of their only rules and grant a worthy hero a chance to win the ultimate prize - immortality. And Lyssa and Hercules are two of the lucky heroes offered the chance to compete.
Twelve gods, 12 realms, 12 trials. And for Lyssa, they’re about so much more than an eternal life. They’re about facing the monster from her past and stopping him from becoming truly untouchable.
She never wanted to let the world know that she inherited some of her father’s immense power. But maybe it’s time to show them all. How else can she compete with giants, centaurs, demigods, monsters, warriors, and the strongest man in Olympus?
You’ve never heard Greek mythology like this before....

Worth a listen
Great plot and constant movement in the story.
I never felt like it dragged but there was also enough detail to keep you interested.

Action and Adventure
I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Skies of Olympus was a great audiobook, the story is a well written Greek mythology tale and the narrator rings the characters to life and rounds out the story as a whole. Beware, this is the first instalment of the series and ends wit a cliffhanger, I fully intend on listening to the other books in the series to find out what happens. This is a great adventure filled with life risking trials, adventure, revenge and twists and turns galore, not forgetting that cliffhanger at the end. Well worth a listen or a read to anyone interested in is genre.

Engrossing Tale
This is an interesting and fun series of books. I really enjoy stories with Greek Mythology and I liked the twists the author put on some of the characters in this series.
The books focus on Hercules, his daughter Captain Lyssa and the rivalry between them. The two are in a competition to gain immortality and each book follows them through the trials they have to complete.
Their tale is filled with lots of action, suspense and surprises. Book three ends with a bit of a cliffhanger and now I can’t wait to find out what book four has in store for Captain Lyssa and her crew.

Interesting mix!
This story/ games of the gods is a bit different from others I’ve read! The only negative is that it jumps around from different peoples activities really quickly so in audio it’s kind of hard to keep straight.... does say like “Lyssa” before the start so I can know right away.
