Summary
Silence may be golden, but it can also be deadly.
Nick O'Flannigan, a freelance photographer on a year-long assignment, is headed for Salt Lake City where there has been a recent series of murders. The Salt Lake Silencer is at large. But Nick has a new determination to stay out of mysteries. His involvement in a case in Denver nearly cost him his job and his new relationship.
An emergency dental procedure puts him unwillingly in the role of a potential witness.
Both he and the police think they know who the murderer is. When another victim turns up they realize they could be wrong. Dead wrong.
Will Nick stay on track with his assignment? Or will he once again be propelled into the limelight and risk his job and his relationship? You won't know the answer until the chilling ending. Check out this, and the rest of the Capital City Murders Series today!

New place, new murder investigation
I enjoyed this book. This is book eleven in this series and although there isn't the complicated plot with lots of suspects to choice from I still find myself enjoying it and have the previous books. It is a quick listen but you still get a sense of the location as the author packs in some sightseeing, as well as solving the murder and a love interest. I like the way he uses his photographs to find clues and then has to pass it on to the police, while trying not to get involved. It will be interesting to see where the author takes up next time on this whistle stop tour of America.
Nick is in Salt Lake City and losing a filling while eating liquorice gets him caught up in another murder investigations. A serial killer is cutting out men's tongues before killing them with a drug over dose and dumping the body for the police to find. Nicks keen eye spots some important information on the news but it is the information he can provide as a witness that proves to be the most helpful.
I like the narrator and hope he continues to be the authors narrator of choice because he does such a great job with the characters.
